Sandeep Kishore, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist focusing on scalable impact for populations with chronic conditions

Sandeep “Sunny” Kishore designs new strategies to address old and large social problems. As a physician-scientist he has worked to change how doctors, researchers, and policymakers approach health challenges and battle the chronic diseases sweeping our world. He encourages them to think more about the “causes of the causes” of maladies like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes—the social determinants that influence the behaviors that affect our health.
